This is a project of students of the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership, which talks about the Holodomor abroad in a new way. The organizers treat residents of the Belgian capital with dishes that Ukrainians had to eat during the Holodomor. The menu includes a soup of corn leaves, bread from grated acorns and pancakes from heads of cabbage and grass meal.
The goal of the project is to bring Belgium closer to the recognition of the Holodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainian people and to tell the deputies of the European Parliament and diplomats about the terrible tragedy.
